Blocking

Blocking shrinks the comparison space: only pairs sharing a blocking key are compared. Pick a key that is stable in your data, for example a postcode.

Choose the columns to compare and a comparison for each. See Match threshold for how the two scores interact.

Review

Inspect the groups the job produced before merging.

Merge

Merging writes golden records. The source rows stay available for audit.
